IREKS AROMA doo for many years, among other things, producing essential oils and extracts from aromatic and medicinal plants. This purpose-built a modern plant for the production of essential oils by steam distillation in Dragovanjščak near Jastrebarsko.
Distillation is done using cultivated and wild plants from continental and seaside regions of Croatian and neighboring countries.
Along with the production developed and modern laboratory to pilot distillation and chemical analysis of essential oils and extracts, which in addition to the classical methods of analysis, includes gas chromatography.
In order to ensure the plant material has been developed in a whole network of subcontractors, dealing with the collection and purchase of plants in their areas. IREKS AROMA also cooperates with small producers of essential oils in special situations when the plant materials must be processed within the closest proximity to their natural habitat.
