"SAČ" Ltd. from Podgorica and "IREKS" Ltd. From Zagreb in August 2002 signed a contract on business cooperation, which gave "SAČ" the exclusive rights to import and distribute all products of Ireks the Republic of Montenegro, as follows:
- Additives and flavors for animal feed industry
- Accessories for bakery and confectionary industry
- Accessories for the meat-processing industry
- Other manufacturing departments of Ireks
IREKS is successor company of Chromos Aroma, founded in the early fifties. After privatization in mid-1993, Chromos Aroma becomes a subsidiary company of IREKS from Kulmbach, one of the leading manufacturers of improvers and mixes for bread, cakes, confectionery and brewer's malt.
It was a master baker and brewer from Kulmbach who laid the foundation stone for the IREKS Company more than 160 years ago: Johann Peter Ruckdeschel. We have not only preserved and maintained his pioneering spirit, but have carried this on.
Today, the name of the company is still inextricably linked to the founder:

A team of over 2,600 employees is personally at the side of the bakers and confectioners all around the globe. This is mainly done by more than 400 highly-qualified Field Service staff from 30 nations – all master bakers and master confectioners.
All products have certificates on Healthcare correctness (product specifications and health certificates) and certificates that proves our products are not made from genetically modified substances.
All products of IREKS have been developed and produced with maximum preservation of nature, and are based on natural raw materials of the highest quality.
Today IREKS has manufacturing facilities or representations in over 80 countries worldwide and annual turnover of the company over a billion euros.
